Our foundation has long been committed to supporting vulnerable groups and individuals with disabilities. In daily care, appropriate assistive devices not only improve convenience and quality of life but also reduce the burden on caregivers, making the care process safer and more comfortable.
-
To support professional care services, our foundation held an Assistive Device Donation Ceremony on September 10, 2025 at the First Children’s Development Center. A total of 20 assistive devices across eight categories—valued at NT$407,200—were donated to the Department of Social Welfare, Taipei City Government. These devices will be allocated to the Yangming Home (for senior assistive devices) and the First Children’s Development Center (for children’s assistive devices) to enhance care quality and provide greater comfort and dignity for service users.

During the ceremony, Ms. Shu-wen Yao, Commissioner, Taipei City Department of Social Welfare delivered a speech expressing her gratitude. She emphasized that assistive devices are essential resources for improving professional care services, and this donation represents not only material support but also significant encouragement and recognition for those working in disability services.

Ms. Winnie Wen-Yu Chao, President of our foundation, also spoke at the event and accepted a certificate of appreciation on behalf of the organization. She expressed her hope that, through concrete actions, individuals with disabilities can gain greater opportunities for independence. She further encouraged society to continue its attention and support, working together to create a more inclusive and compassionate care environment.
