Health Lecture – Zhongshan Health Service Center

The Taipei Tsai Hsueh-Ni Charity Foundation partnered with the Taipei Zhongshan Health Service Center to organize senior-friendly health courses. Through hands-on activities and interactive sessions, we helped elderly participants improve their physical strength and enjoy the benefits of exercise.
After ten weeks of dedication, therapists at Zhongshan Health Center guided elderly participants from their initial fitness assessments to the final showcase of their progress. Each session not only enhanced physical well-being but also fostered enjoyment and friendships through exercise.
"Stay active as you age" is our shared belief! We sincerely appreciate the effort and perseverance of all participants and look forward to organizing more health activities in the future, working together toward a healthier life!
From August to October, a total of ten classes were held, with 259 total participants. Course topics included:
- Week 1: Orientation + Pre-Assessment + Cardiovascular Aerobic Training
- Week 2: Three Key Exercises to Prevent Falls at Home
- Week 3: A Comprehensive Look at Barrier-Free Home Environments
- Week 4: Struggling to Stand Up? Functional Strength Training at Home
- Week 5: Increasing Foot Pain? Secret Remedies for Plantar Fasciitis
- Week 6: Trouble Reaching the Bathroom in Time? Effective Pelvic Floor Exercises
- Week 7: Climbing Stairs Effectively – Mastering Three Key Steps
- Week 8: Transforming the Entire City into Your Personal Gym
- Week 9: What to Do When You Fall? Emergency Response Strategies
- Week 10: Final Assessment + Course Review + Graduation
