Subsidy program for foreign students to learn Chinese
In recent years, the number of foreign spouses in Taiwan has increased, particularly in the Dahu area of Miaoli County. To support foreign spouses in improving their Mandarin language skills, strengthen their family and parent-child interactions, and enhance their parenting concepts and abilities, our foundation partnered with the Dahu Township Office to implement this program.
The program was implemented over two years, from September 2015 to August 2017, and provided support to 11 foreign spouses. This initiative not only helped foreign mothers learn Mandarin but also improved interactions among children and family members.
Overcoming differences in life and culture for a better family!
Taipei Tsai Hsueh-Ni Charity Foundation funded the cost of teaching materials, with parental education counselors in the Dahu area providing guidance.
The objectives of this program are:
(1)To help foreign spouses improve their Mandarin language skills and enhance their interactions and communication with their children, in-laws, and teachers.
(2)To strengthen family and parent-child relationships while improving parenting concepts and abilities.
Education improves environments
Through the power of education, we aim to change the challenges faced by disadvantaged families and encourage them to strive for a better future together.
