Learning Support Program for Students from Economically Disadvantaged Families
To enhance the academic competitiveness of students from economically disadvantaged families and reduce their financial burden, Taipei Tsai Hsueh-Ni Charity Foundation collaborated with the Social Affairs Bureau, Tainan City Government, to implement a learning support program. Based on individual capabilities, customized tutoring materials and study plans were developed to gradually cultivate students' self-learning abilities and confidence.
The program aimed to foster a proactive and positive attitude, strengthen family functions, accumulate resources for poverty alleviation, and ultimately enable financial independence.
From September 2015 to December 2018, over a period of 3 years and 4 months, the program provided math tutoring for 15 students twice a week, each session lasting two hours. These students showed significant improvement in their attitudes, study habits, and academic abilities. Notably, two students even surpassed their school's curriculum, an achievement worthy of recognition!
Give children an opportunity to surpass themselves!
Education has always been the best solution for poverty alleviation. Only through skill and academic improvement can poverty be truly overturned and its cycle broken.
Together with the Social Affairs Bureau, Tainan City Government, Taipei Tsai Hsueh-Ni Charity Foundation developed the "Learning Support Program for Students from Economically Disadvantaged Families." By improving children's academic performance and abilities, we aim to help them build confidence, rethink their future, and use this transformative force to continue their personal growth, find their self-worth, and ultimately achieve true financial independence.
Education changes destinies
Give children an equal opportunity, and they will continue to surpass themselves. We sincerely hope that these students can build confidence and pursue their dreams.
