NGO CSW69 in New York

On March 13 2025, our organization held a NGO CSW69 Parallel Forum at the Church Center of the United Nations (CCUN) in New York,“Empowering Women and Gender Equality through Technology.”
The session was chaired by our Director, Professor Lillian Lih-Rong Wang, and our representative, May Hung (Hung Hsin-Yu), delivered a presentation on behalf of the organization. We were honored to invite three distinguished experts—Dr. Chang Ching-Fen (Department of Social Work, National Taipei University), Dr. Minyoung Moon (Clemson University), and Dr. Jeong Seong Lee (Sookmyung Women’s University)—to share their insights and explore the role of technology in advancing gender equality, focusing on women’s education, empowerment, and health.
Through practical case studies from South Korea and Taiwan, the session demonstrated how diverse technological developments can empower women, promote gender equality, and enhance women’s influence in the field of technology across different cultural contexts.
Technology provides greater opportunities and choices, enabling women to realize their aspirations in both professional and personal spheres. Together, let us work toward a more gender-equal future!
